This is maple syrup season, so what better time to feature a wonderful salmon recipe making use of the delicious real maple syrup. I love the complimentary flavors of salmon and maple, especially the rich flavor of Grade A Medium or Dark Amber. And since it's March and the weather is winter-weary one day and signaling spring the next, let's go with cozy garlic mashed potatoes and fresh shoots of spring asparagus as sides to the salmon.
