Thanks to all the readers who took time to leave a comment about her/his favorite cookbook. I loved reading about everyone's favorite, and I got a couple of good ideas for additions to my own collection. Oh, who am I kidding? I already bought two of them this week! And Kathy's collection will have a new addition by next week, when she receives her brand new copy of The Coastal Living Cookbook -- no way I'm giving my own copy away. Hope you love it as much as I do!

congrats to kathy!
it was an honor to have my name in your mixing bowl!
Hi Cora, I have a question not related to this post but to your list of items in the kitchen that you can't do with out. Please explain what an "epicurean cutting board" is.
Hey, Julie! It was an honor to have your name in my mixing bowl. There will be more giveaways and I hope you'll be in there every time.
Epicurean is a brand of cutting board I discovered on a trip to CA a couple of years ago. They are available everywhere. They come in lots of sizes and I have one that is wood color and one that is black. The great thing is they can go in the dishwasher, they don't warp, the surface is wood-like, they are thin and don't take up much room. Mine looks good just sitting out on the counter, so I never have to haul it out to chop anything. Love it! There should be one listed in my Amazon Store, if you want to see it. And thanks for asking!
yay!! thanks, Cora! early Christmas! I must admit though, that I thought you were tired of yours and sending yours, so I was looking forward to all those notes in the margin! ;-)
and btw, Windy was THRILLED with the gift you and Diana gave her for her shower- Jeff will be the one using it, but she is very happy not to have to use store-bought baby food! a very thoughtful gift. we missed you, I am trying to get pictures up now-
